Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair sun protection products (e.g., ZIP awnings, blinds, and shutters) directly at customer sites
• Perform daily customer service assignments starting from home or the warehouse via company vehicle
• Analyze causes of malfunctions and ensure long-term troubleshooting
• Instruct customers on product handling
• Provide meaningful documentation for efficient follow-up by the service back office
• Independently manage tool and material stocks in the service vehicle

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Polybau, Mechanic, Electrician)
• Several years of professional experience as a service technician
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
• Valid driver's license (Class 3 or B)
• Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland (primarily Zurich area)
• Proficiency in MS Office and general PC usage
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the blind/shutter industry
• Willingness to undergo further training in sun protection and control systems
