Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and service water purification systems at customer sites
• Deliver, set up, exchange, troubleshoot and maintain ion exchange tanks or membrane systems
• Drive truck to deliver water treatment equipment and ensure correct inventory is loaded
• Conduct water quality tests including TDS, resistivity, pH, CO2, Cl2, and hardness
• Operate and maintain instrumentation and analytical equipment calibrations
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical/electronic components, pumps, motors, and UV systems
• Maintain customer relationships and respond to on-site inquiries
• Follow EHS policies and maintain vehicle and site housekeeping

Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of water industry experience (ion exchange, RO, membranes) or related field (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and various industrial environments
• Ability to read technical manuals and write reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in electrical, mechanical, or water treatment disciplines
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial membrane and UV systems
• Vocational training in electrical, mechanical maintenance, or plumbing
• Class A License
• Knowledge of PLC logic/programming
• College coursework in chemistry
