Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs for portable electric and pneumatic tools, light construction equipment, and outdoor products
• Troubleshoot tool failures by disassembling units to examine components for wear or defects
• Replace worn or defective parts to restore equipment to working order
• Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation and return them to appropriate storage
• Complete work orders including repair parts, labor, pricing, and customer information
• Manage inventory to ensure accuracy with parts and accessories
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist with shop equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and printed servicing data
• Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow as it applies to power tool sources
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Goal-driven mentality with the ability to meet daily and weekly productivity goals
