Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain wind turbines to ensure top performance
• Troubleshoot errors and technical issues on wind turbines
• Escalate complex technical issues to supporting engineering functions
• Analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently in challenging environments
• Deliver outstanding customer service while following field procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial field
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to pass a pre-hire drug screening and a physical exam
• Ability to meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less for safety compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field
• Certification from a Renewable Energy or Wind Technical Program
• Hands-on work experience as a Wind Technician on a wind farm
