Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform technical maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and service activities on wind turbine systems both onsite and remotely
• Work at heights up to 300 feet and in confined spaces while maintaining strong safety awareness
• Deliver excellent customer service while responding effectively to stressful or hazardous field situations
• Support the development and improvement of field procedures, best practices, and operational processes
• Adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures while performing physically demanding work in varied weather conditions

Requirements

• College diploma or equivalent technical competency in an electrical, mechanical, or related wind farm system field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLC programming and converters
• Ability to work at heights up to 300 feet and in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license and a valid passport
• Legal authorization to work and reside in Canada
• Ability to travel within Canada and the United States as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with wind turbines, specifically SGRE 2.3MW Geared and 3.0MW Direct Drive platforms
