Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Support dealers and customers by assisting with new vehicle deliveries and ensuring all components are complete
• Provide on-site training to customer personnel regarding the proper operation and maintenance of vehicle systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing issues in the field
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, dealers, and internal engineering or service departments
• Document technical issues, identify component shortages, and maintain detailed service reports
• Assist in the development and distribution of training materials such as manuals and instructional aids
• Travel frequently to customer and dealer locations for inspections, training, and service support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of technical trade school education (mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, etc.) OR five years of field service experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL is highly preferred)
• Ability to travel frequently, with occasional international travel required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in various field environments including heights and heat
