Service Technician - Parking Equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software installations in the Minneapolis area
• Support multiple products across electronics, mechanical devices, and PC systems
• Provide software and hardware support for clients and fellow field service technicians
• Occasionally assist in installing Parking and Revenue Control and Access Control equipment, including bolt down, wiring termination, communications setup, configuration, and testing under project manager direction

Requirements

• Electronics technical school training or equivalent
• Ability to work on proprietary software, hardware communications, programming, and repair
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Clean driving record
• SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with customers
• Ability to work well within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Windows software and operating systems
• Network and/or communication systems experience
• MS Network and MS A+ Certifications
