About the role
Responsibilities
- Repair, service, and build standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect system components for repair
- Diagnose system components and recommend solutions to customers
- Design, fabricate, machine, and weld parts and components
- Assemble new and repaired equipment and test for performance
- Prepare job forms listing necessary parts and labor
- Assist customers with technical questions and provide quotes or orders when needed
- Perform maintenance on assigned customer products within the service shop
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds and perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
