Service Technician - Millwright

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and overhaul rotating equipment, specializing in centrifugal end suction, multistage, and submersible pumps
• Complete detailed inspection forms and provide recommendations for required repair work scopes
• Support field site activities, including installation inspections, start-ups, and commissioning of new or repaired equipment
• Conduct precision measuring of critical tolerances and non-destructive electrical testing on electric motors
• Perform in-house and onsite pump repairs in a professional, timely, and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure accurate quotations and profitable repair scopes
• Maintain high safety standards and develop safe work practices for all processes

Requirements

• Millwright Certification or Technical Trades Diploma
• 3–5 years of mechanical experience, specifically with centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Willingness to travel within the Western Provinces, including some weekend work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in pump service
• Background knowledge in machining or electrical work
