Service Technician Medical Technology

Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on medical devices, including operating tables, surgical lights, and ceiling supply units
• Provide comprehensive customer support and document all service activities using specialized documentation software
• Act as a medical device consultant in compliance with MPG and MPBetreibV regulations
• Collaborate closely with internal service teams and field sales representatives
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the Hanover area
• Support other product areas such as Acute Care Therapies (ECMO, ventilators) and Infection Control (sterilizers) as needed

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a comparable field
• Strong technical knowledge of electricity, electronics, mechanical drives, and hydraulics
• Proficiency in German and English
• Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory for field travel
• Willingness to travel within the assigned service area
• Customer-oriented, structured, and independent working style
