Service Technician Marine

Responsibilities

• Install new components, including aligning and shimming machines and mounting/dismounting bearings, seals, and couplings
• Perform measurements to determine machine condition, such as alignment, vibration, and 3D measurements
• Assist with in-situ machining of bearing positions
• Prepare clear and accurate technical reports
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during international onsite assignments

Requirements

• MBO level 3 diploma in Mechanical or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• General knowledge of rotating machines and mechanical service work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal)
• Willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly
• Valid Driving License B

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the maritime sector (e.g., service technician, marine engineer, or shipyard technician)
• Possession of a VCA-VOL certification
