Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform field and workshop maintenance and repair of John Deere forestry equipment
• Travel extensively to customer sites, with the potential for overnight stays
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship or National Diploma in Forestry, Agriculture, or Construction
• Proven knowledge of hydraulic and electrical/electronic control systems
• Full UK driving license
• Proficiency with IT systems
• Excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach to working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the forestry, agricultural, or construction sectors
• Understanding of John Deere products and the forestry industry
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
