Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform field and workshop maintenance and repair of John Deere forestry equipment
• Travel extensively across North and Central Scotland, with potential for staying away
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship or National Diploma in Forestry, Agriculture, or Construction
• Proven knowledge of hydraulic and electrical/electronic control systems
• Full UK driving license
• Proficiency with IT systems
• Excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach to working hours and locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an engineer in the forestry, agricultural, or construction sectors
• Ability to learn new technologies and products quickly
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Existing understanding of John Deere products and the forestry industry
