Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software in the Minneapolis area
• Support multiple products using knowledge of electronics, mechanical devices, and PC systems
• Work with various operating systems and networking technologies
• Provide software and hardware support for clients and fellow field service technicians
• Assist with installation of Parking and Revenue Control and Access Control equipment, including wiring, communications setup, configuration, and testing under direction of a Project Manager
• Fulfill on-call duties as assigned

Requirements

• Electronics technical school training or equivalent
• Ability to work on proprietary software, hardware communications, programming, and repair
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Clean driving record
• SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems experience
• Excellent written and oral customer communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Windows software and operating systems
• Network and/or communication systems experience
• MS Network and MS A+ Certifications
