Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software installations across the Greater Toronto Area
• Provide software and hardware support for clients and fellow field service technicians
• Support multiple product lines and assist with installation duties including equipment bolt-down, wiring termination, communications setup, configuration, and testing under project manager direction

Requirements

• Electronics technical school training or equivalent
• Ability to work on proprietary software, hardware communications, programming, and repair
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Clean driving record
• SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems experience
• Excellent written and oral customer communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Windows software and operating systems
• Familiarity with network and/or communication systems
• MS Network and MS A+ Certifications
