About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete Pre-delivery Inspections (PDI) on machines and perform routine preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair Epiroc products using analytical skills in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
- Run diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment to determine causes and initiate necessary repairs
- Maintain appropriate tools and equipment on-site and ensure they are properly maintained
- Communicate service activities and updates to the Service Coordinator in a timely manner
- Adhere to all company safety and environmental requirements, including the proper use of PPE
- Document proper operating parameters and perform detailed failure analyses on rebuilt components
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial/commercial fluid power
- Experience with low voltage electrical control systems
- Possession of personal hand tools
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to complete required technical training and maintain MSHA training certificates
- Technical or trade school certificate (or equivalent relevant work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and powertrain functions
- Expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of hydraulic and power train components
- Ability to work independently and exercise self-discipline with minimal supervision
