About the role

Responsibilities

  • Complete Pre-delivery Inspections (PDI) on machines and perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair Epiroc products using analytical skills in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
  • Run diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment to determine causes and initiate necessary repairs
  • Execute diagnostics on hydraulic and electrical components to minimize customer downtime
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate service activities clearly to coordinators and customers
  • Adhere to all company safety and environmental requirements, including the proper use of PPE

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial/commercial fluid power
  • Experience with low voltage electrical control systems
  • Possession of personal hand tools (willingness to expand inventory as required)
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Technical or trade school certificate (or equivalent relevant work experience)
  • Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to moving parts, fumes, and outdoor weather

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and powertrain functions
  • Experience performing detailed failure analyses and root cause identification
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
