Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out machine pre-delivery and customer-specific installations on surface and underground mining equipment
• Perform service and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and RCS systems
• Conduct diagnostic fault finding to solve complex equipment-related issues
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance and quality control in all repairs
• Comply with all company and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements
• Collaborate with team members to foster a productive and safe work environment

Requirements

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical, or Hydraulics
• Experience maintaining surface and underground mobile mining equipment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
• Experience with low-voltage electrical repairs and hydraulic systems
• Full Australian working rights are mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Epiroc surface and underground products
