Service Technician Electronics, IT & Network Technology

Responsibilities

• Perform error analysis, repairs, and maintenance on electrical and electronic components of air defense systems
• Troubleshoot IT disruptions, perform software updates, conduct system checks, and manage network configurations
• Handle the commissioning and calibration of large-scale systems, including power supplies, communication modules, and command center IT infrastructure
• Supervise external contractors during maintenance and repair activities both domestically and internationally
• Document system configurations and all technical measures taken

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, IT, network technology, or system technology
• Experience working with electrical systems and supporting complex IT environments
• High willingness to travel (approximately 50%) both nationally and internationally
• Fluency in both German and English
• Valid driver's license (Class C preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a military or defense environment
• Additional certifications as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician
