Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide support to field installation teams and clients regarding code implementation, device programming, and diagnostics
• Maintain technical service standards and resolve customer problems or complaints promptly
• Verify hardware and software functionality and provide feedback on solution viability
• Coordinate with Project Management to facilitate project timelines and integration status
• Assist installation teams with hardware/software setup, code loading, and network support
• Provide on-site client training and interpret user guides
• Maintain accurate installation supplies and materials inventory

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a field installation role
• Intermediate AV design experience
• CTS-I or equivalent experience
• Network+ Certification
• Ability to obtain Cisco ICND within first 6 months
• Entry-level programming of control systems and IT networks
• Familiarity with Audio DSP programming and theory
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CMR
• Experience with ticketing systems and structured cabling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and travel up to 25%
