Responsibilities

  • Assess and identify technical issues with solar equipment using troubleshooting protocols
  • Replace faulty equipment and manage the commissioning process
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding service findings and next steps
  • Coordinate with manufacturer technical support to troubleshoot on-site equipment
  • Order standard parts and manage warranty claims and approvals
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Manage company work truck inventory, including tools and necessary parts
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in solar equipment troubleshooting
  • Experience with equipment replacement and commissioning
  • Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary
