Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of customer cable or fiber for high-speed internet services
• Install and replace customer premises equipment (CPE) including cable modems, ONTs, and DVRs
• Install interior wiring, splitters, mini-amps, connectors, and drop splices
• Participate in scheduled on-call duties to provide technical support during non-business hours
• Maintain daily records, logs, receipts, and a clean, stocked company vehicle
• Use testing equipment such as signal level meters, TDRs, fusion splicers, and PON meters
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and OSHA, FCC, and NEC requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of CATV Service Technician or related technical experience
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Satisfactory driving record
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code
