Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and install portable fire extinguishers, gas monitors, SCBAs, and fall protection equipment
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, sensor replacement, and calibration for Draeger Gas Monitors
• Conduct flow tests and maintenance for Draeger Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
• Test, repair, and sync frequencies for Kenwood Walkie-Talkie radios
• Use hand and power tools to repair fall protection retractable equipment following detailed procedures
• Provide technical assistance and phone support to customers regarding safety equipment
• Process point-of-sale transactions, including purchase orders, cash, and credit cards
• Maintain a clean and organized service room

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read and understand technical procedures and diagrams
• Proven customer service experience and ability to build strong client relationships
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and point-of-sale systems
• Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift a minimum of 40 lbs consistently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a safety-related field, utility, or construction industry
• Experience with safety products and concepts
