Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshooting, and repair of air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure blowers
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems
• Communicate with customers and the Service Manager regarding services performed and repair options
• Complete all service-related documentation, including service reports, start-up forms, and warranty forms
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, which may include out-of-town and overnight travel
• Maintain customer equipment pads by pressure washing and cleaning skids, coolers, and tanks

Requirements

• 1-2 years of technical experience in a mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and English fluency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in industrial environments with extreme temperatures and physical demands (walking, reaching, bending, kneeling)
• Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory
• Ability to use computers for work orders, parts ordering, and training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics)
• HVAC experience
• EPA Certification
