Service Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preventive maintenance on all coating and support equipment within the facility
• Provide emergency equipment repairs to ensure continuous production
• Schedule maintenance tasks in coordination with production and the Area Service Manager
• Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Manage spare part inventory to minimize downtime while controlling costs
• Ensure all safety measures are met and technicians practice safe work habits
• Provide training to coating technicians on load building and batch maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including support systems and equipment

Requirements

• 2-year degree (AA) or relevant industry certification in an electro-mechanical discipline (equivalent experience may be substituted)
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC, vacuum technology, automotive, or industrial equipment repair
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on top of machines using fall protection
• Availability for 24-hour emergency response to address equipment failure or downtime
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency regarding production needs
