Service Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Field Service Engineers across the South East UK territory
• Act as a player-coach by supporting the repair, maintenance, and re-validation of medical systems equipment
• Carry out service itineraries in accordance with company procedures to optimize time and minimize costs
• Conduct annual performance reviews and assist in the recruitment of new Field Service Engineers
• Work closely with Service Co-ordinators and customer contact teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Manage team stock levels, perform regular audits, and ensure accurate documentation within agreed timescales
• Deputise for the Regional Service Manager as required

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
• Previous experience in managing or mentoring Field Service Engineers is highly desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/GForce)
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of professional communication
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time and work away from home when necessary
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
