Service Systems Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Perform start up, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning for new or retrofit projects
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Troubleshoot and repair control components, HVAC mechanical, electrical, and networking issues
• Load and update software on network controllers, field controllers, computers, and servers
• Write, test, and commission programming software and graphics
• Communicate with customers regarding service nature, outstanding issues, and system enhancements
• Train customers on control systems operations and provide certification
• Complete project documentation including commissioning reports and punch lists
• Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for retrofits and upgrades

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of electronic or digital control systems
• Associate’s degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, or air conditioning
• Or equivalent experience (degree may be offset by two years of relevant experience)
• 5-7 years of experience servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment
• Experience with computer programs and software applications related to the HVAC industry
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean record
