Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute field service work including breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installation, and commissioning.
• Perform workshop repairs such as dismantling, assembly, and cleaning of parts using precision equipment.
• Plan and coordinate all necessary materials, equipment, and documentation for site activities.
• Conduct detailed inventories and inspections to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Prepare technical and work reports for customer approval.
• Identify new service business opportunities through close cooperation with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Mechanical trade certificate.
• 2 to 3 years of experience working with turbochargers on marine vessels, or experience as a mechanical/diesel fitter.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and operating rotating machinery (e.g., balancing machines, lathes, and drills).
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% for field service work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rotating machinery service, specifically within turbocharging.
• Product service knowledge of various turbocharger types installed on two-stroke or four-stroke engines.
