About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to team members and demonstrate standard practices
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Coordinate work assignments and keep Shop OneNote updated
- Ensure deadlines are met and determine appropriate staffing to meet customer needs
- Accountable for achieving minimum billable shop hours
- Communicate with customers about projects and provide performance reports
- Communicate shop project status at companywide meetings
- Provide departmental leadership in the Service Manager’s absence
Requirements
- Strong electronic and mechanical skills
- Decisive leadership and team player mindset
- Strong computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Full knowledge of Geoprobe® equipment and SAP data entry
