About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on aircraft wheel and brake assemblies according to customer, OEM, and approved technical specifications.
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for wear, defects, or abnormal conditions.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts using appropriate tools and ensure all replacement parts are serviceable.
  • Assemble wheel and brake units and perform necessary tests in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs).
  • Read and comprehend technical publications, travelers, and work instructions.
  • Utilize the company SAP system to input requirements promptly following inspections.
  • Maintain workstation 5S standards and perform daily inspections of tools and equipment.
  • Work both independently and as an active team member to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent education.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a high-quality, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical publications, CMMs, and Repair Station Manuals.
  • General knowledge of precision measuring tools.
  • Practical experience with hydraulics or pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong hands-on skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically in aircraft wheel and brake maintenance.
  • Welding certificates or painting experience.
  • CNC machining or programming experience.
  • Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License.
  • English reading and writing skills.
