Service Reliability Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Influence design and operational decisions to ensure overall stability of gaming services
• Maintain ownership of production, production code quality, and deployments
• Provide critical feedback during different phases of the operational lifecycle
• Ensure operational readiness and stability throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Software Development and/or Linux Systems Administration
• Proficiency as a Linux Production Systems Engineer managing large scale Web Services infrastructure
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Development experience in Python (preferred), Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust
• Experience with at least 3 of the following: Distributed data storage (Hadoop, Ceph), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra), Data Aggregation (ElasticSearch, Kafka), RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Monitoring & Alerting (Prometheus, Grafana), Kubernetes, AWS, Software Distribution, or Configuration Management (Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience in S/W Performance analysis and load testing
