Service Professional

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support a range of services including security, internet, home automation, TV, and home phone
• Act as a frontline sales champion by identifying and recommending products to enhance customer experience
• Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service and technical support in residential settings
• Drive revenue growth by converting service calls into sales opportunities through consultative selling
• Educate customers on new and existing products to maximize their use of TELUS services

Requirements

• Proven experience in both customer service and sales
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driving abstract
• Minimum of Grade 11 Math completion
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in consumer electronics
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and crawling in confined spaces
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or education in telecommunications or security industries
• Proficiency in additional languages
