Service Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment according to client specifications
• Troubleshoot hydronic heating systems and recertify backflow prevention systems
• Support and assist with cost/job estimates and proposal submissions
• Read and interpret drawings and contract specifications
• Requisition materials and supplies as required
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Ensure safe working conditions are strictly adhered to in accordance with company policy
• Provide status reports on service work and prepare necessary paperwork including timesheets and service reports

Requirements

• Experience as a certified Service Plumber is considered an asset
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
