Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core designation, 1 year underground construction experience, Ability to operate underground mobile equipment
About the role
Responsibilities
- Install Pipe vent and Fans
- Assist construction projects
- Operate jackleg, stopper, air tuggers, moving hoist and other underground mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor trucks and utility vehicles
- Inspect work headings and construction for compliance to code, regulations, and standards
- Report any deficiencies or unsafe conditions
Requirements
- Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0011, U0013, U0080 & U0082) or equivalent provincial designation
- Minimum of 1 year underground construction experience
- Transferable skills in carpentry, concrete work, or equipment operation
- Willingness to work at various underground mine sites
- Commitment to safety and efficiency
