Service Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, including opening boxes, crates, and shipping containers
• Inspect freight for damage and accuracy, then unpack and put away items
• Pick parts and pre-package orders according to customer requirements
• Pack and ship products using the UPS system
• Assemble parts kits and package them per production requirements
• Perform inventory tasks and manage transactions within SAP
• Adhere to and contribute to "5S" standards and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with periodic inventories and material flow improvements

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school
• Ability to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, or cranes
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to approximately 50 pounds
• Basic math skills (counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing)
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read/decipher written instructions and labels
• High attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
