Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical and strategic leadership to field service professionals managing high-purity water treatment, deionized water, reverse osmosis, and filtration systems.
• Oversee talent acquisition, retention, employee engagement, performance management, and professional development.
• Establish departmental budgets, manage operating expenses, and lead workforce planning initiatives.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable workforce plans and operational objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver data-driven insights to management.
• Ensure product, system, and water quality standards are maintained and manage inventory levels across multiple sites.
• Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization.
• Drive proactive customer management and respond quickly to customer issues.

Requirements

• Industrial or commercial process water experience is required.
• 5 to 7 years of technical work experience or 3 years of industry-specific experience, combined with 3 years of leadership/management experience.
• Ability to obtain required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software such as Oracle or SAP.
• Strong people management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Equivalent military experience or applicable industry experience in lieu of a degree.
