Service Manager - Water Treatment

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of 10 to 15 employees, optimizing scheduling and utilization
• Manage small-scale projects including Mobile Water Systems and Refurbishments
• Review and refine engineering drawings and P&IDs
• Monitor key operational metrics including system performance, employee utilization, and costs
• Administer Preventive Maintenance programs and document corrective actions
• Manage fleet vendor relationships ensuring EHS and DOT compliance
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field service technicians
• Collaborate with sales and regeneration teams to identify business expansion opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering) or an Associate's Degree in a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of water industry experience (ion exchange, reverse osmosis, membranes, etc.)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in people management
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Proficiency in computer systems and analytical problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Project Management or Six Sigma
• Water Treatment License
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Tableau, and Salesforce
• Knowledge of PLC logic/programming
• Experience in water plant operations or maintenance
