Service Manager Modernization & Conversion Projects

Responsibilities

• Perform technical design of requested services for machines and plants within the industrial furnace and burner product group
• Create offers, calculations, and schedules, and lead contract negotiations with customers
• Manage inquiries for complete plant components and services from sub-suppliers
• Support project management in planning, controlling, and monitoring sold products regarding cost and timeframes
• Supervise and participate in the assembly of components and complete systems
• Coordinate with specialist departments, customers, and involved third-party companies
• Monitor cost development and prepare technical order processing
• Support site personnel and provide training for customer staff
• Develop checklists for audits (process audits, inspections, condition audits, etc.) and conduct audits at customer sites

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or technical vocational training (e.g., Technician)
• Knowledge of industrial furnaces and thermal process technology is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of CRM systems and SAP is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel globally (less than 25%)
