About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop Service Team members and day-to-day service business operations
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide consistent feedback to drive results
  • Select, train, and develop employees to ensure all positions are filled timely
  • Ensure the team provides a high level of customer experience and builds lasting relationships
  • Address client concerns or complaints quickly and professionally
  • Ensure department compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Delegate service tasks to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned on time
  • Monitor employee work and provide ongoing guidance and training
  • Assist with vehicle repairs on an as-needed basis
  • Resolve people and safety issues in collaboration with Human Resources

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of automotive service experience
  • Experience managing technicians including selection, development, and performance management
  • Proven track record of excellence in Customer Service
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary DMS software
  • Valid driver’s license with no recent suspensions
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management
  • Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
  • Start-up or fast-paced environment experience
  • Previous OEM specific EV experience
  • ASE Certifications
  • EPA 609 Certification
