About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service and technical support requirements for customers in the Goldfields region.
- Meet customer service financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and analyzing variances.
- Provide excellent customer service through responsiveness, efficiency, and high-quality technical support.
- Implement a healthy customer service culture and ensure field service technicians embrace company values.
- Determine customer requirements through regular site visits, operational environment assessments, and surveys.
- Plan resource allocation and job scheduling to ensure adequate field service personnel are available for current and future work.
- Oversee parts management to ensure all required products, consumables, and ancillary equipment are ordered timely to support scheduling.
- Develop standard quality reports for customers following field service visits.
Requirements
- Electrical (low voltage), electronics, or mechanical engineering background.
- Appropriate technical qualifications from an industry-endorsed training provider.
- Sufficient experience as an RCT field service technician.
- In-depth understanding of RCT products.
- Proven track record in installation, servicing, and field repair duties.
- Strong logical problem-solving skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent time management and methodical, process-driven work practices.
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead a field service team toward high satisfaction levels.
