About the role
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the effective management and operational delivery of the service
- Lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve strategic objectives
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and company policies
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the service and identify new business opportunities
- Manage budgets, including revenue and capital, and take responsibility for financial governance
- Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development
- Oversee health, welfare, and safeguarding of all individuals in line with best practice
- Monitor and drive quality through audits and governance processes
- Manage on-call arrangements and provide out-of-hours support
Requirements
- QCF/NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Proven experience managing high-quality specialist residential services
- Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements and relevant legislation
- Strong people management and clinical supervision skills
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including unsocial hours and travel as required
