Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the effective management and operational delivery of the service
• Lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve strategic objectives
• Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and company policies
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the service and identify new business opportunities
• Manage budgets, including revenue and capital, and take responsibility for financial governance
• Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development
• Oversee health, welfare, and safeguarding of all individuals in line with best practice
• Monitor and drive quality through audits and governance processes
• Manage on-call arrangements and provide out-of-hours support

Requirements

• QCF/NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Proven experience managing high-quality specialist residential services
• Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements and relevant legislation
• Strong people management and clinical supervision skills
• Experience with budget management and financial reporting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including unsocial hours and travel as required
