About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Service Department focusing on teamwork, safety, and profitability
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of technicians and support staff
- Collaborate with Branch, Parts, and Sales Managers to meet company goals
- Monitor technician training and oversee repair work for accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding service updates and concerns
- Manage warranty claims, service quotes, and administrative duties
- Enforce safety standards across all operations
Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in service department operations
- Prior dealership service experience in the heavy equipment industry strongly preferred
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealer business systems
- Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
