About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Service Line activities, supporting evidence-based practice, clinical pathway development, and performance improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving systems, processes, reporting, and care coordination models to enhance patient experience.
  • Lead strategic initiatives including growth planning, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide strong people leadership through mentoring, performance management, recruitment, and succession planning.
  • Support clinical education, research activities, and staff development to maintain high standards of clinical competence.
  • Promote person-centered care by strengthening communication and engagement between patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Lead performance improvement and risk management efforts, including incident investigation and accreditation readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in an operational field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7-10 years of post-graduate experience in a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • 3 years of experience as a service manager within a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
  • Valid DOH license holder or a DOH eligibility letter.
