Service Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual service forecasting cycles (FC0, FC3, FC6, FC9, and Annual Budget)
• Partner with Service management to ensure forecast accuracy and financial transparency
• Perform general ledger activities including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage backlog and open order integrity through regular project reviews and data scrubbing
• Ensure accuracy in revenue recognition, cost alignment, and margin reporting
• Act as a financial business partner to provide insights into service profitability and margin development
• Serve as a manufacturing SAP finance expert for the Service organization
• Prepare and deliver documentation for interim and year-end audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing finance or controlling
• Required experience with manufacturing SAP
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage complex datasets
• Demonstrated experience with forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with audit preparation and support

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
• Prior experience supporting a Service organization within a manufacturing environment
