About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishment on wastewater and related water industry equipment
- Handle treatment chemicals safely and perform chemical cleaning and dosing in line with site procedures and regulations
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers and gather site feedback for continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues on-site and respond to breakdowns to reduce downtime
- Build strong relationships with site operators, maintenance teams, and stakeholders
- Work in line with water industry standards, site safety procedures, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering background preferred
- Experience in water, wastewater, process, or industrial sectors
- Electrical knowledge desirable
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Customer-facing experience
- Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
