Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishment on wastewater and water industry equipment
• Safely handle treatment chemicals and perform chemical cleaning and dosing activities
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers to ensure equipment efficiency
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and process-related issues on-site to minimize downtime
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with site operators and stakeholders
• Adhere to water industry standards, site-specific safety procedures, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering background preferred
• Experience in water, wastewater, process, or industrial sectors is advantageous
• Electrical knowledge is desirable
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
• Flexibility to travel to wastewater sites, including occasional nights away and weekend work
