Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through high-quality service
• Carry out preventive maintenance, commissioning, and breakdown work
• Perform troubleshooting and fault finding
• Undertake upgrades and refurbishment work
• Submit timely work reports, time sheets, and documentation
• Provide technical and commercial after-sales support and feedback
• Identify opportunities to improve client systems, reliability, or productivity
• Liaise with the sales team and provide regular updates to line managers

Requirements

• Experience as a Service Engineer in the Healthcare and Scientific industry
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Knowledge or experience in water treatment is desirable
• Strong IT competency and time management skills
• Ability to handle challenging customer conversations and prioritize workloads
