About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through high-quality service
- Carry out preventive maintenance, commissioning, and breakdown work
- Perform troubleshooting and fault finding
- Undertake upgrades and refurbishment work
- Submit timely work reports, time sheets, and documentation
- Provide technical and commercial after-sales support and feedback
- Identify opportunities to improve client systems, reliability, or productivity
- Liaise with the sales team and provide regular updates to line managers
Requirements
- Experience as a Service Engineer in the Healthcare and Scientific industry
- Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Knowledge or experience in water treatment is desirable
- Strong IT competency and time management skills
- Ability to handle challenging customer conversations and prioritize workloads
