Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service for production tester systems at customer OSAT factories, including downtime troubleshooting and jam recovery
• Perform new system installations, upgrades, and retrofits
• Conduct data collection and first-level analysis of automation and testing logs to identify mechanical, electrical, or automation root causes
• Execute periodic preventative maintenance according to established guidelines
• Report major issues daily and manage internal escalations
• Represent Teradyne in weekly three-way meetings between the customer, OSAT, and Teradyne

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in electronics, mechanical, or semiconductor industries
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally
• Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing and maintenance of automation equipment/testers
• Strong skills in automation and testing log analysis
• Fluency in Chinese language skills
