About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning, servicing, and repairs of company equipment in line with contractual obligations
- Liaise with service coordinators to ensure work is effectively planned and delivered
- Prepare thoroughly for service visits by ensuring all required documentation, drawings, and manuals are available
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet service agreement requirements
- Communicate outstanding issues to customers and outline next steps before leaving site
- Complete detailed job reports and obtain customer sign-off
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer experience
Requirements
- Electrical or mechanical engineering background
- Experience working with relevant product ranges and systems
- Knowledge of steam processes and instrumentation or similar technical environments
- Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Engineering Services Skill Card or CCNSG
