Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning, servicing, and repairs of company equipment in line with contractual obligations
• Liaise with service coordinators to ensure work is effectively planned and delivered
• Prepare thoroughly for service visits by ensuring all required documentation, drawings, and manuals are available
• Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet service agreement requirements
• Communicate outstanding issues to customers and outline next steps before leaving site
• Complete detailed job reports and obtain customer sign-off
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer experience

Requirements

• Electrical or mechanical engineering background
• Experience working with relevant product ranges and systems
• Knowledge of steam processes and instrumentation or similar technical environments
• Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload under pressure
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Engineering Services Skill Card or CCNSG
