Service Engineer (Radar Systems)

Responsibilities

• Install and configure radar systems at customer locations worldwide, performing on-site testing and initial calibration.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnosing root causes and repairing faulty components.
• Maintain detailed service reports, including diagnostics, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Provide feedback to the engineering team based on field experiences to drive continuous product improvement.
• Manage sub-contractors on location and ensure compliance with service contracts, warranties, and quality standards.

Requirements

• BA or MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Dutch/EU nationality with C1+ proficiency in Dutch.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electromechanics, system installation, or maintenance.
• Valid B driver's license (BE preferred).
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 55% business travel).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, independent working style.
